CEVA Logistics Italia signs an agreement with Pearson PBM Editori, and becomes the logistic arm of the leader in worldwide publishing

CEVA Logistics Italia, under Gianfranco Sgro, recently signed an important 6-year contract with Pearson PBM Editori Publishing Group.

Pearson Paravia Bruno Mondadori S.p.a. is part of the Pearson Education Publishing Group, present in 40 countries, with more than 30,000 employees and more than 56,000 published titles, and in fact, one of the world leaders in Publishing. Pearson PMB Editori publishes books in English and Italian ranging from scholastic books to academic and professional books.

CEVA Logistics Italia will carry out the distribution of books to agents, and the management of the warehouse supply for Pearson PBM Editori. This means that CEVA will process more than 1,500 items for a total of 1.200.000 pieces/year.

Thanks to the implementation of a cutting edge IT system, CEVA Logistics Italia will be able to control, in a state-of-the-art manner, the flow along the supply chain, guaranteeing clear, safe, and punctual service.
