Istanbul, Turkey, 08 June 2009 - CEVA Logistics, one of the world's leading supply chain companies, has announced a one year extension to its collaboration with Weber Turkey, a subsidiary of Saint-Gobain Group, a world leader in building materials production and distribution, located in 35 countries and with 230 production units around the world. The extended contract will include delivery of additional services. The estimated revenue of the new contract is €1,500,000.
CEVA has been providing distribution services to Weber Turkey from its Izmir and Istanbul plants for over four years. CEVA's unique distribution network matches Weber Turkey's clients' locations, which means that CEVA is able to deliver a full service on time to Weber's customers within a maximum transit time of three days for the furthest distance in Turkey.

Aslan Uzun, CEVA Logistics General Manager in Turkey & Balkans, commented: "During these four years that we have been working together, CEVA has developed a deep knowledge of Weber's sector, understanding its primary requirements and providing tailored logistics solutions that have been satisfying their needs. This has led to tangible improvements to Weber product distribution all over Turkey and we believe that it's due to the success of this work that our contract has been extended".

Ebru Külahçıoğlu, Logistics & Purchasing Senior Manager of Weber Turkey: "Weber Turkey's focus is customer satisfaction. As a result, our objectives totally match CEVA's. Since 2008, we have had to adapt ourselves to multi-plant operations. During this period, with CEVA's help, we have had the chance to introduce logistic solutions that meet our own clients' needs."
Weber offers technologically advanced solutions for facades, fixing tiles and natural stones on all type of supports as well as for flooring. Additionally, the company provides a full portfolio of masonry, technical and plastering mortars.
