Ruy Nogueira announced as new general manager of AV Manufacturing

São Paulo, Brazil, July 21, 2009 - AV Manufacturing (AVM), part of the CEVA logistics group dedicated to the assembly of sub parts for the industry, has recently announced the appointment of Ruy Nogueira. Previously working as the Business Development Manager at CEVA, Ruy Nogueira will now take up the recently created position of General Manager at AVM, reporting directly to Giuseppe De Vincenzo, vice-president of CEVA in Brazil.Established in June 2006 to service a specific demand from CEVA's customer, General Motors (GM), AVM began its operations with the coupling of engines and transmission and the assembly of peripheral components. In March 2009, AVM acquired the operational assets of Delphi Corporation, taking on the assembly of suspensions and axels for Prisma and Celta vehicles. Since the consolidation, AVM has become one of the largest supply chain providers in GM's Gravataí-based automotive industrial complex.
