TNT Logistics CEE appoints Sohn as HR Director

On 1 May 2004, Gerhard Sohn (aged 50) was assigned to the position of Human Resources Director for the international logistics company TNT Logistics CEE (Central & Eastern Europe).In this newly created position, Sohn is responsible for the planned central direction and co-ordination of all HR management and reports directly to the COO Christian Fürstaller.
The well-experienced business school graduate started his career working as a personnel advisor with Standard Elektrik Lorenz AG in Stuttgart. He then moved on to Audi AG in Ingolstadt where, over a period of ten years, he filled various management positions relating to personnel, and ultimately became International Human Resources Manager. In 1998, Sohn changed jobs to come and work as Group Human Resources Manager for the automotive supplier Edscha AG, where, during the time he held this position, the number of employees increased from 3,700 to 6,700.
The appointment of Gerhard Sohn is another logical step towards TNT Logistics CEE achieving its integration and growth objectives.
