TNT Logistics North America delivers second gift of $10,000 to University of North Florida

TNT Logistics North America, one of the nation's leading providers of logistics services, has delivered its second gift of $10,000 to the University of North Florida, College of Business Administration.

The $10,000 is part of a four year, $40,000 scholarship program TNT has committed to the local university's business program to assist in developing an elite logistics program known nationwide.

"We are delighted to have the TNT Scholarship for our logistics majors," said Dean Earl Traynham. "Logistics is a strategic focus of our program and having a scholarship like this from such a prestigious company as TNT will help us recruit throughout the nation."

TNT Logistics and The University of North Florida logistics program enjoy a mutually beneficial relationship as TNT employs graduates from the program in areas of logistics solutions and information technology throughout North America.

"We are extremely fortunate to have a quality logistics program in Jacksonville," said TNT President and CEO, Dave Kulik. "As a rapidly growing industry, we are committed to helping develop the talent that is needed to fuel its growth."

TNT Logistics employs over 255 people at its North American corporate headquarters located in Jacksonville and over 6,000 throughout North America. Recently, the Company announced a multimillion contract with Michelin which will add an additional 15 people to the corporate headquarters.
