Change reflects new stand alone position

TNT Logistics, the world's largest "pure play" contract logistics company today announced it changed its name to CEVA Logistics. In connection with the name change, the company also unveiled its new corporate identity and will begin doing business under the new brand across 26 countries worldwide as of today.
As the second largest logistics company world wide, CEVA has a turnover of €3.5 billion. It employs 38,000 people and operates over 7.4 million square metres of warehouse space across 26 countries world wide.

After the unveiling ceremony of the new brand name and logo, Dave Kulik, CEO of CEVA Logistics commented, "Our new company brand represents a significant milestone in the company's long history and completes our transition from a company division to a stand-alone logistics company. The CEVA brand will be synonymous with advanced logistics technology and exceptional quality of service to customers worldwide. Our rebirth as CEVA gives us the opportunity to focus 100% of our energy on becoming the leading global service provider in logistics.
The overall branding - which will be completed in 2009 world wide - incorporates the triangle into its logo. This symbol of a triangle is important to us, because it represents the essence of supply chain and CEVA's excellence in connecting a multitude of trading partners. The CEVA triangle also links the three cornerstones of our strategy: innovation, collaboration and proactiveness. Our commitment to these qualities is what will move us to the forefront of our industry".
